School Technical Services Lead

University of Sheffield is seeking a School Technical Manager to coordinate the technical support across the School of Mathematical & Physical Sciences. You will lead technical staff, optimise staffing and facilities, and deliver a comprehensive service for research, teaching and workshops.

You will work with School leadership to plan for 5–10 year horizons, manage core and grant‑funded infrastructure, and ensure safety, budget control and policy compliance.
