Overview

UK software house providing critical services to an impressive client list is looking to bring on another IT Operations Engineer / IT Support Engineer to join their busy team. This role involves working in a clustered SAN environment for high availability, performing patch management and Windows software updates, and supporting, deploying and maintaining key products.

Responsibilities

• Work at all levels of the IT support stack and participate in the support, deployment and maintenance of all key products.
• Perform patch management deployments and Windows software updates.
• Operate within a high‑availability, clustered environment.
• Work a 9‑5 schedule with periodic on‑call rotation (1 in 5 or 6 weeks, with a 10% salary increase).

Technical Skills & Experience

• Windows Server and Microsoft Clustering
• Azure, IIS and SQL Server
• SAN and networking (routers/switches)
• Experience with high‑availability business‑critical IT environments
