Job Details
- Pay: £37,000 – £40,000 DOE (Increase in salary after successfully passing probation (6 Months))
- Hours of Work: Monday – Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm (Flexibility will be required)
- Duration: Permanent
- Benefits: 22 days holiday + bank holidays (increases with length of service)
Job Role
The Operations Manager will be responsible for managing and improving the overall operational performance of the site. Leading a team of 60 staff, you’ll focus on route efficiency, route planning, and staff allocation. You will also collaborate with other Operations Managers to drive consistency and improvements across all depots.
Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications
- Proven experience in operations management and route planning
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical, and Microsoft Office skills
- Ability to prioritise workload, work as part of a team, and meet tight deadlines
- Problem-solving: Ability to handle and resolve operational issues efficiently
- Full driving license and flexibility to travel for meetings, training, and site visits

Job Role
The Mechanical Contracts Manager will oversee multiple mechanical projects from start to finish, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard. You will develop project plans, manage site resources, price jobs, and liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors while offering technical support and leading meetings.
Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications
- Previous experience within a project or contracts manager role
- Strong knowledge of mechanical building services
- Knowledge of relevant UK legislation
- Willingness to work on the tools when required
- Ability to acquire new projects & quotes
