Weareseekingahands-onManagementAccountsAssistanttosupportthefinancefunctionwithinamanufacturingenvironment.Thisroleisidealforanindividualwhohasstrongaccountingfundamentals,enjoysworkingwithdetailedfinancialdata,andhaspracticalexperiencewithstockandinventoryaccounting.
ThesuccessfulcandidatewillworkcloselywiththeFinanceManager,assistingwithmonth-endreporting,managementaccountspreparation,stockreconciliations,costanalysis,andoperationalfinanceactivities.Thispositionrequiresastronggroundinginaccountingprinciplesratherthanapurelycommercialfinanceorbusinesspartneringbackground.
KeyResponsibilities
- Assistinthepreparationofmonthlymanagementaccounts.
- Supportmonth-endandyear-endcloseprocesses.
- Performstockandinventoryreconciliationsandinvestigatevariances.
- Maintainaccurateaccountingentriesrelatingtostockmovementsandinventorytransactions.
- AssistwithmaterialcostinganalysisandBillofMaterials(BOM)reviews.
- Supportbalancesheetreconciliationsandjournalpostings.
- Producefinancialreportsandanalysistosupportoperationaldecision-making.
- Workcloselywithmanufacturingandoperationalteamstoensurefinancialaccuracyofstock,inventory,andproductiondata.
- Assistwithbudgetingandforecastingactivities.
- Ensurefinancialcontrolsandprocessesarefollowedandcontinuouslyimproved.
CandidateProfile
EssentialSkills&Experience
- AATqualified(minimum)andideallystudyingtowardsCIMAorACCA.
- QualifiedbyExperience(QBE)candidateswithrelevantmanufacturingfinanceexperiencewillalsobeconsidered.
- Experienceworkingwithinamanufacturing,production,engineering,orsimilarstock-intensiveenvironment.

- Stockmovementaccounting
- Inventorycontrolandreconciliations
- Materialcostings
- BillofMaterials(BOMs)
- Accountingentriesanddouble-entryprinciples
