Senior Residential Support Worker / Team Leader

Location: Middlesbrough Salary: £15.00 – £16.50 per hour (DOE) + £58.40 per sleep-in Hours: Minimum 37 hours per week Sleep-Ins: As required

Potential Earnings:

  • Base Salary (37 hours per week): £28,860 – £31,740 per annum
  • 11 Sleep-Ins per month: £7,709 per annum
  • Potential Total Earnings: £36,569 – £39,449 per annum

Service: Ofsted Registered Children’s Home

Young People Supported: Learning Disabilities / Autism

Employment Type: Permanent

Qualifications: Level 3 or Level 4 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) essential

Experience: Minimum 1 year within children’s residential Ofsted Regulated Home

The Opportunity

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Residential Support Worker or Team Leader to join their established and supportive team in Middlesbrough.

This vacancy has arisen due to the home expanding from a solo placement to a two-bed service following the admission of an additional young person. This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable service at an exciting stage of development and play a key role in supporting the home’s continued growth.

Desirable Experience & Qualifications

  • Level 3, Level 4 or Level 5 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Experience working within an Ofsted-regulated children’s home
  • Understanding of relevant residential childcare legislation and safeguarding requirements

Shift Pattern

  • Day shifts
