Role
We are seeking an aspiring Utility Surveyor for a varied role offering full training to start a career within a specialist Consultancy known for looking after staff. You will work on technical projects and have opportunities for progression to senior roles.
This well-established consultancy specialises in Utilities and Topographical surveys, serving a broad client base from private individuals to Tier 1 Contractors. They have grown continually over 25 years and are expanding the surveying team to meet increasing workload.
In this role, you will receive full training within the Surveying team of 20 as you undertake utility and topographical surveys. You will be on site daily and may work from home as required with flexible hours and ongoing opportunities to develop and upskill within the business.
The role is well suited to a Graduate or similar looking to start their career in a company offering flexible working, bespoke training and ongoing progression.
Responsibilities
- Undertake Utility Surveys – full training
- Carry out topographical and other surveys as required
- Work within a team of 20+, typically on site with 1 other Surveyor but also work autonomously
- Carry out daily site visits – primarily from South London down to the South Coast
- Some overnight stays and work required
The Person
- Graduate or similar looking to kickstart their career in Utility Surveying
- Full Driving Licence
- Based near Reading – happy to undertake regular travel
