Senior PDE Design Engineers (Derby, UK)

Are you an experienced PDE design engineer located near Derby, looking for a new challenge in the gas turbine domain? Belcan is expanding and seeking two senior design engineers to join our team on a permanent basis in the Derby office.

Responsibilities

• Design of sub‑systems or components within gas turbine engines, focusing on advanced technology.
• Lead detailed design, review and support design release.
• Follow gate review process, collaborate with stakeholders to understand product requirements and deliver solutions that meet those requirements.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Aeronautical, Mechanical Engineering or a related degree, or substantial gas turbine design experience.
• Strong technical capabilities in sub‑system or component design.
• Experience in a similar senior role.
• Comprehensive tool set knowledge, including Siemens NX, Teamcenter, Microsoft Office.
• Experience working within flexible teams and communicating technical details internally and with clients.
• Prior experience in aerospace or power generation gas turbine design and Siemens NX usage.
