Pathway Legal is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a prestigious law firm with its Head Office based in Belfast City Centre. Due to continued growth, our client is seeking an experienced Claims Handler / Litigation Assistant to join their successful Hearing Loss & Industrial Disease team.

This is an excellent opportunity to join an established litigation department where you will initially support the progression of a busy caseload before developing into a Claims Handler role with responsibility for managing your own files. Genuine long term career progression and ongoing development are on offer.

Key Responsibilities

Supporting the progression of Hearing Loss and Industrial Disease claims. Liaising with clients and providing a high standard of client care. Obtaining medical records and other relevant documentation. Liaising with medical experts and third parties. Preparing legal correspondence and documentation. Managing the administrative aspects of a busy caseload. Assisting with file management and progressing claims efficiently. Developing towards managing your own caseload of claims.

Essential Skills & Experience

Previous experience within a legal, insurance or claims handling environment. Excellent organisational and time management skills. Strong communication and client care skills. Ability to work independently and prioritise a busy workload. Experience within personal injury litigation would be advantageous but is not essential. A proactive attitude with a genuine desire to develop your career.
