Overview

The School of Medicine West Midlands is committed to the development of simulation-based education for health professionals working with adults. SimWard at New Cross Hospital has quickly become one of the region’s best simulation-based education centres, known for delivering high-quality undergraduate and postgraduate teaching programmes and for innovation in immersive training experiences.

Responsibilities

• Delivery and development of the current successful postgraduate simulation teaching programmes.
• Development of a simulation project jointly agreed with the supervisor.
• Part-time, 12-month postgraduate medical simulation fellow post.

Requirements

• Applicants invited for interview will be required to give a 10‑minute presentation entitled “Simulation in Postgraduate Medical Education – My experiences”.
