Dental Triage Nurse

Dental Triage Nurses provide telephone clinical advice to patients aged 5+ with urgent dental problems, responding to calls from NHS 111.

Pay Rates

• Out of Hours: £16.68/hr, Mon–Fri 18.00–08.00 and weekends

Locations

• Bradley Contact Centre, Huddersfield, HD2 1GQ
• Lexicon Contact Centre, Leeds, LS7 2BQ (training may be at Bradley)

Shifts Available

Full-time and part-time shifts available:

• Saturday, 0630-1129, Week 2
• Saturday, 1200-1559, Week 2
• Saturday, 0800-1595, Week 1
• Sunday, 0800-1329, Week 4

Rota operates on a 4-week rolling basis.

About You

Qualifications

• Dental Nurse or other Dental Professional currently registered with the General Dental Council, with at least 2 years’ post-registration experience.
• Additional qualifications relevant to primary dental care.

Experience

• Experience of working in a primary or secondary dental care setting.
• Experience of telephone triage.
• Experience of using NHS Pathways and DOS.
