Female Care Assistants
We are only able to accept applicants who have the right to work in the UK, live within a commutable distance to the job location, and be able to work full‑time 33–44 hours per week.
The nursing home offers a range of specialist care for residents, including Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s care, as well as care for stroke victims.
Successful applicants should have 1–2 years of experience, preferably in a similar role.

Work Environment
This position is crucial in the healthcare system, as Care Assistants play a vital role in helping individuals manage their conditions and improve their quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
- Patient Care: Provide personal care and support to residents, including assistance with daily living activities such as eating, bathing, and dressing.
- Therapeutic Engagement: Engage residents in therapeutic activities to promote recovery and alleviate distress, identifying factors that may increase agitation and employing de‑escalation techniques when necessary.
- Monitoring and Reporting: Observe and document residents’ conditions, noting any changes in behaviour or mood, and report these to the nursing staff.
- Supportive Environment: Create a safe and compassionate environment for residents, ensuring their dignity and privacy are respected at all times.
- Collaboration: Work alongside a multidisciplinary team—including nurses, psychiatrists, and social workers—to implement care plans and support residents effectively.
- Crisis Intervention: Recognise signs of distress or crisis in residents and respond appropriately to ensure their safety and well‑being.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in a care role; experience with dementia, brain injury, and nursing home settings is desirable.
- Certifications: Holding a Care Certificate or equivalent is typically desirable.
- Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Cheerful, compassionate, respectful, and caring approach, with good communication skills.
- Good understanding of the needs of vulnerable adults and a desire to make a positive contribution to their lives.
- Ability to work on own initiative.
