Job Description:

First Recruitment Services are recruiting an Assembler to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Eastbourne. This is a temporary-to-permanent opportunity, offering long-term stability and development for the right candidate. The role suits someone who enjoys hands-on work, has good attention to detail, and takes pride in producing high-quality products as part of a busy production team.

Responsibilities

  • Assembling products and components following specifications and work instructions
  • Using hand tools and equipment safely and effectively
  • Checking completed assemblies to ensure quality standards are met
  • Identifying and reporting faults, defects, or assembly issues
  • Working closely with colleagues and supervisors to meet production targets
  • Maintaining accurate production records where required
  • Following health and safety procedures at all times
  • Keeping the work area clean, organised, and safe

What We’re Looking For

  • Good attention to detail and accuracy
  • Previous assembly or manufacturing experience (preferred)
  • Ability to follow instructions, drawings, and processes
  • Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
  • A positive and proactive approach to work
  • Reliable, punctual, and committed
