Welder

Our client, based in Farnborough, is seeking a skilled and experienced Welder to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with a strong background in fabrication and aluminium welding.

Welder Roles and Responsibilities:

• Perform MIG and TIG welding to a high standard
• Primarily work with thin-gauge aluminium materials
• Read and interpret detailed engineering drawings and specifications
• Use a range of tools, including grinders and manual/electric equipment
• Ensure all work meets required production targets and deadlines
• Maintain high levels of quality, accuracy, and safety

Welder Ideal Candidate:

• Proven experience in MIG and TIG welding
• Minimum of 4 years’ fabrication experience, including working with multi-level BoMs
• At least 4 years’ experience working with thin-gauge aluminium (1.5–6mm)
• Strong practical skills with hand and power toolsExperience using inspection and measuring equipment
• Ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings and welding symbols
• Extensive experience in fabrication, including complex builds and designs
• Previous coding/qualification in aluminium welding (1.5–6mm) (Desirable)
• BPSS Security Clearance (or willingness to obtain)

Welder Working Hours:

• Monday – Thursday, 08:00 – 16:45
• Friday, 08:00 – 13:00
