Maintenance Electrician
Location: North West (Mobile)
Salary: Up to £45,000 + Door-to-Door Travel
Hours: 41 Hours per Week
We’re recruiting for a Maintenance Electrician to join a well-established building services contractor covering commercial contracts across the North West. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Electrician looking to join a growing business offering door-to-door travel, long-term job security and genuine career progression.
Working across a varied portfolio of commercial properties, you’ll carry out both planned preventative maintenance and reactive electrical works while building strong relationships with clients.
The Role
As a Maintenance Electrician, your responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) across commercial buildings
- Responding to reactive electrical breakdowns and fault finding
- Testing, inspection and electrical compliance works
- Emergency lighting testing and repairs
- Fire alarm testing and associated electrical maintenance
- Minor electrical installation works
- Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults on commercial building services systems
- Completing job sheets, reports and compliance documentation accurately
- Liaising professionally with clients and site teams
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with current regulations
Areas Covered
You’ll work across commercial contracts throughout the North West, with projects covering areas including:
- Cheshire
- Manchester
- Warrington
- Lancashire
- Cumbria
- Contracts stretching from Stoke through to Carlisle
Requirements
To be considered for this Maintenance Electrician role, you’ll need:
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Installation or Maintenance
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (preferred)
- Previous experience within Facilities Management, Building Services or Commercial Maintenance
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
- Professional and customer-focused approach
- Full UK Driving Licence
