Description
- Support lawyers on financing transactions by coordinating KYC requirements.
- Liaise with lenders, clients, and external advisers regarding compliance documentation.
- Manage and maintain client information databases and KYC resources.
- Assist with Companies House searches, registrations, and transaction formalities.
- Draft transaction-related documents, including board resolutions and certificates.
- Track and monitor leveraged finance market activity and trends.
- Report completed transactions for business development and knowledge purposes.
- Assist with the development and maintenance of finance know‑how materials.
- Support knowledge management initiatives across the finance team.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Coordinate documentation across multiple matters simultaneously.
- Assist with training and knowledge‑sharing activities where appropriate.
- Take ownership of key processes and become a subject matter expert.
- Support additional transactional and administrative projects as required.
Profile
- At least six months’ experience in a legal, compliance, or KYC-focused role.
- Experience gained within a law firm, financial institution, or professional services environment.
- Strong organisational and project management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical ability.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Confidence liaising with clients and external stakeholders.
- Proactive approach with the ability to work independently.
- Interest in leveraged finance or financial markets.
- Strong team‑working and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgement.
- Flexible and adaptable approach to changing priorities.
- Experience drafting legal or corporate documentation is advantageous.
- LPC qualification desirable but not essential.
