THE COMPANY
Our client is a renowned digital media agency, supporting key clients with end-to-end content and distribution services.
THE ROLE
As a Junior Technical Operator, you will convert and prepare media files across multiple formats with accuracy and care.
Key responsibilities:
- Localising film content for global distribution, including subtitles, dubbing and graphics.
- Encoding and transcoding media for broadcast, streaming and DCP delivery.
- Delivering content to film and TV technical specifications.
- Editing TV spots, social media and promotional content.
- Managing content transfers via digital asset management platforms.
- Performing frame rate conversions for international broadcast standards.
You may be required to work based on a rota pattern that will allow the department to be operational 24 hours a day, which means sometimes working shifts that include early (6.30am) starts as well as late (22.45) finishes.
THE PERSON
You should be skilled in Adobe Premiere Pro, be familiar with Clipster or Transkoder and have experience creating and packaging DCPs.
A solid understanding of digital video formats, technical specifications and encoding workflows is important, supported by basic knowledge of online and broadcast deliverables. Knowledge of tools such as Adobe Media Encoder and Adobe Audition is advantageous.
