Role Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic Support Worker to join our team based in the Thornton area of Liverpool. The role offers a 16‑hour shift, with a rota schedule across weekdays, weekends and bank holidays, covering mornings, afternoons, evenings and overnight shifts.
Responsibilities
- Support individuals to live independently by managing their budget, paying bills, housework, organising appointments and preparing healthy meals.
- Build relationships and communicate effectively to help the people we support understand the world around them and promote positive relationships.
- Facilitate community and social inclusion by encouraging participation in local community and social events to develop life skills and individuality.
- Provide personal care, including prompting medication, assistance with bathing, showering and using the bathroom where required. Note: not all roles require high levels of personal care.
Requirements
Excellent communication skills and a caring, patient attitude are essential.
