About the role

Could your pharmacy knowledge help improve patient care across the Isle of Man? Join our friendly and forward-thinking Medicines Optimisation Team as a Pharmacy Support Worker. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills and experience while supporting projects that improve patient outcomes, enhance medication safety, reduce waste and make the best use of healthcare resources.

Based within primary and community care, you’ll work closely with GP surgeries, care homes, community mental health services and the prison service, making a real difference across a variety of healthcare settings. You’ll be involved in reviewing patient records, collecting and analysing prescribing data, supporting medication reviews, contributing to the development of the Manx Care formulary and helping to implement prescribing initiatives that promote safe, effective and cost‑conscious use of medicines.

We’re looking for someone who is self‑motivated, organised and passionate about delivering a high‑quality service. If you’d like to be part of a service that’s shaping the future of medicines optimisation and improving healthcare across the Island, we’d love to hear from you.
