Shop Volunteer (Till & Customer Service – Builth Wells)
Your local British Red Cross shop has a variety of activities available for volunteers to support us in. From sorting stock and preparing donated items for sale to providing great customer service to our donors and customers – we have something to suit most people’s interests. Our shop is a great place to learn new skills and share existing ones.
We are currently looking for Till and Customer Service volunteers to help us in our shop.
If you have a positive outlook, enjoy speaking to new people and are confident in learning how to use a shop till, then this may be for you.

Diversity & Inclusion
We celebrate diversity and want you to bring your authentic self to the Red Cross. We aim to create an inclusive environment, promote kindness, and have an expenses policy that prioritises volunteers not being out of pocket for expenses linked to your role. If upfront costs are difficult, speak to your volunteering manager about alternatives. We welcome refugees, asylum seekers and others currently in the UK to volunteer with us. Volunteering is accessible to everyone.
Health and Safety Statement
We take an individual approach to ensuring your safety. We may ask you to complete a simple risk assessment and have a conversation with you about any adjustments needed. Some locations may not be suitable for 15‑17 year olds; please get in touch so we can find a suitable opportunity.
