Support Worker

Job Summary

Kind and empathetic Carer/Support Worker for a 41-year-old female with complex healthcare needs based in KT11, Oxshott. This role provides 1:1 day and overnight support to Amy, with a pay rate up to £20.33 gross per hour and £24,336 gross per annum based on 24 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 day and overnight support.
• Respond to seizures, pain management needs and other care requests via a bedside alert system.
• Perform personal care, medication support, light household tasks such as laundry and ironing.
• Offer companionship through conversation, games or quiet activities at Amy’s pace.
• Manage bedtime routines and support during periods of fluctuating emotions.
• Cover additional shifts as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Calm, empathetic and emotionally resilient support worker.
• Understanding of complex health conditions and fluctuating emotions.
• Comfortable working in a family home and respecting the client’s Christian faith.
• Respect DNR and ADRT decisions, and manage severe allergies (avoid strong fragrances and certain foods).
• Willingness to cover additional shifts when available.
• Full training provided for specialist tasks if required.
