Therapy Coordinator, 15 hpw (Term Time Only) (Bamburgh School)

Job Summary

Fixed‑term contract for two years, 15 hours per week, term‑time only. Salary £33,699 pa pro rata.

Location: Bamburgh School, South Shields.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate planning, delivery and monitoring of Moving and Handling across the school.
• Work under the supervision of a qualified Occupational Therapist and liaise with OT and Physiotherapy staff.
• Support assessment of children, lead on their follow‑up and develop individual interventions for Moving and Handling.
• Oversee Moving and Handling equipment and provide training to other staff.
• Collaborate with the Senior Manager regarding funding for specialist equipment.

Qualifications & Attributes

Well‑suited candidate with relevant skills and attributes, supported by a suitable DBS disclosure and other pre‑employment checks.

Additional Information
