Sunningdale are looking for a Support Worker to join their family run business!

Sunningdale is a private family-run business, who support vulnerable adults on a day-to-day basis. The main job role is to provide social companionship and assist with social activities in the client’s home. Duties will include light domestic duties, light meal preparation, assisting with household administration, shopping, trips out, and accompanying clients to appointments. Client visits are usually longer and with the same clients which allows you to build a rapport with the clients you are supporting and get to know them.

Due to the nature of this role, a full UK driving licence is required with business insurance. Experience isn’t essential but is desirable. Full training will be provided. Candidates must have excellent communication skills, organisational skills, be self-motivated, and able to use own initiative. This role doesn’t have a requirement for personal care, but will require for prompting with personal care.

There are a variety shift patterns available from relief, part-time and full-time. All client visits will be between 7:30am – 6pm.

The work will include weekends and bank holidays, so you will need to be flexible and available 7 days a week. The role is based in Scarborough and surrounding areas.
