Assistant Manager – Hemel Hempstead

In every restaurant, talented Assistant Managers work with the General Manager and share responsibility for the restaurant’s results.

Responsibilities

• Lead, inspire and coach the team to ensure profitability and an excellent level of customer service.
• Bring the company values to life for staff and customers.
• Support the General Manager in delivering burgers & fries, store results and creating an “above & beyond” experience.
• Own the P&L: drive sales while controlling costs.
• Address complaints promptly, maintaining a high customer satisfaction score.
• Ensure each shift runs smoothly and that values are integrated into shift management.
• Spot potential and develop the team to create a strong talent pipeline.

Qualifications

• 1–2years of management experience in a high‑volume hospitality or QSR environment.
• Proven record of driving customer satisfaction scores, Mystery Shopper results and positive reviews.
• Experience with P&L management, labour cost control and inventory/waste management.
• Strong leadership skills: coaching, motivating and developing people and identifying future talent.
• Solid understanding of Food Safety standards, Health & Safety regulations and achieving 5‑star hygiene ratings.
