Order Picker (Chilled Environment)

Shift: 13:00 – 21:00 (5 DAYS OVER 7)

Pay Rates:

• 13:00 – 18:00: £12.90 per hour
• 18:00 – 21:00: £15.64 per hour

The Role

The Best Connection are seeking reliable and motivated Order Pickers to join our warehouse team. The successful candidate will work within a freezer environment, accurately picking orders using a voice-directed headset system and preparing stock for dispatch.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately pick customer orders using a voice-directed headset system.
• Work safely and efficiently within a freezer environment.
• Handle trays and stock in accordance with company procedures.
• Ensure all orders are picked correctly and meet quality standards.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
• Meet productivity and performance targets.
• Follow all health and safety and food safety procedures.

Skills & Experience

• Previous warehouse experience is preferred.
• Experience working within a freezer or chilled environment would be advantageous.
• Ability to carry out physical duties, including lifting and moving stock.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable, punctual and committed to high standards of work.
