We are seeking a proactive and results‑driven Operations Support professional to join our team in Northwest London. In this pivotal role, you will support the smooth running of NHS and healthcare patient services, working closely with the Operations Manager to analyse data, drive improvements, deliver excellent customer service, and ensure operational efficiency in a fast‑paced, KPI‑focused environment. The successful candidate will combine strong attention to detail with strategic thinking to support primary care/community services and contribute to high‑quality patient outcomes.
What you’ll be doing
- Support day‑to‑day operations within NHS/healthcare patient services, ensuring efficient service delivery and compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Analyse, interpret, and present data to generate actionable recommendations that drive performance improvements.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to maintain a results‑driven workplace.
- Deliver outstanding patient/customer service, responding calmly and effectively to challenging situations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across diverse groups using strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Contribute to service planning, balancing detailed operational tasks with broader strategic direction.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and embrace new ideas to enhance service quality and efficiency.
- Provide administrative and operational support, including potential personal assistant duties as required.
- Assist with project and line management activities where needed to support team objectives.
What we’re looking for
- Proven experience in NHS or healthcare patient services, ideally within primary care/community or diagnostic settings.
- Strong numeracy and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make evidence‑based recommendations.
- Excellent patient/customer service skills combined with a calm, measured approach to challenges.
- Demonstrated passion, proactivity, perseverance, and entrepreneurial spirit in a results/KPI‑driven environment.
- Confident decision‑making with a good balance of attention to detail and big‑picture strategic awareness.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for engaging with diverse stakeholders.
- Drive for continuous improvement and openness to new ideas.
