About The Role

We’re looking for volunteers throughout the Kent region. If you’re looking for a varied and flexible role which helps us reach and support more people affected by dementia than ever before, look no further!

You’ll volunteer with our Fundraising teams to raise awareness in your local community and assist our supporters to raise funds. You’ll help us identify potential new supporters, build brand awareness, and inspire people in your local area to know more about dementia. As an Ambassador, you’ll put your passion for making a difference into action by engaging with supporters in a variety of ways such as attending events, giving speeches, hosting info tables, cheque presentations, and helping with bucket collections.

You’ll be great for the role if:

  • You are passionate about making a difference in your local community and to the lives of people affected by dementia
  • You have experience of or an interest in fundraising and raising awareness
  • You have good communication skills and enjoy engaging with people
  • You are self‑motivated, organised and confident to volunteer independently
  • You are over the age of 16
