HGV Class 1 Shunter Driver 4 on 4 off

We are seeking two reliable and experienced Class I Drivers to support our client in Shaftesbury. This is a temporary position with a 4 on / 4 off shift pattern, working 8am–8pm. Unlike traditional haulage roles, this position is entirely site-based and involves shunting vehicles, moving packaging, and assisting with loading and unloading palletised goods. The ideal candidates will be flexible, safety-focused, and comfortable supporting warehouse operations alongside driving duties.

The role will include

• Shunting 44t vehicles around site (tachograph-exempt, manual WTD entries required)
• Moving packaging between warehouses and site areas
• Assisting with unloading/loading palletised goods
• Use of Powered Pump Trucks (provided)
• Supporting warehouse operations when required

What do we need from you?

• Valid Category CE licence, CPC & Digi Card
• No more than 6 points (sorry, no INs or DRs due to insurance)
• Positive, can-do attitude
• Reliability and flexibility
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes
• Comfortable assisting with warehouse/yard work as well as driving
