Class 1 Driver

Position Details

Location: Norwood, South Yorkshire, S21 2DR

Guaranteed hours: 50 per week – Monday to Friday with weekend overtime required.

Hourly pay: £17.77 per hour.

Additional rates:

• Weekday overtime: £41.47 per night (parking paid separately on expenses)
• Saturday: £22.17 per hour
• Sunday: £29.57 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Collect non-hazardous waste from various commercial sites across the UK.
• Operate vacuum tankers, product barrels, curtain side trailers, and rigid trailers.
• Document all completed work on daily worksheets and submit daily/weekly reports, vehicle check sheets, fuel receipts, and Weighbridge tickets.
• Comply with all traffic laws and legislation, ensuring the security and weight of loads.

Requirements

• Cat C+E (Class 1) licence with previous driving experience.
• Driver CPC qualification.
• ADR certification.
