We are seeking a passionate and dedicated PE Apprentice who specialises in Rugby to become part of the team in our friendly, successful high school. This role is ideal for someone who is enthusiastic about sports beyond the standard curriculum and acts as a great sporting role‑model for our pupils.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and delivering PE lessons, especially Rugby across the curriculum.
• Engage and motivate pupils of all abilities to participate in physical activity.
• Help facilitate lunchtime and after‑school sports clubs.
• Organise and run safe and enjoyable activities at playtimes and lunchtimes.
• Support teachers while they deliver PE lessons, using your skills to help pupils improve.
• Organise and run sport and fitness sessions after school for children of all ages.

Job Requirements

• Previous experience working with young people in a coaching or educational setting.
• Level 2 Coaching Certificate / Equivalent.
• Strong sporting background.
• Good organisational skills.
• Strong communication skills.
