School Facilities Manager
Location: Corsham Primary School, Pound Pill, Corsham, Wiltshire, SN13 9YW
Contract: Permanent, Full‑time (37 hours per week)
Salary: £25,989 – £27,254 per annum (FTE)

About this role
We are looking for a proactive and reliable School Facilities Manager to take overall responsibility for the management, maintenance and security of the school sites and their facilities across the Pickwick Academy Trust.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the premises are safe, compliant, well‑maintained and support the school’s educational aims.
- Oversee repairs, contractors, health and safety compliance, security systems and statutory checks.
- Maintain accurate records using the Trust’s compliance systems.
- Provide hands‑on caretaking duties, support sustainability initiatives and keep grounds and buildings clean, secure and welcoming.
- Deliver cover at additional Trust sites as required, particularly during leave or sickness absence.
- Work closely with Headteachers and the Trust Head of Facilities to promote safeguarding and child welfare.
- Demonstrate flexibility, strong organisational skills and commitment to safeguarding and welfare of children and young people.
Qualifications & Experience
- Relevant experience in facilities management, preferably within a school or similar environment.
- Knowledge of health and safety legislation, security systems and statutory compliance in an educational setting.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work flexibly across multiple sites.
- Commitment to safeguarding and the welfare of children.
