Salary: GBP0 – GBP15.5 per hour
Kenect are hiring HGV Class 2 or 7.5t drivers for their prestigious client based in Burton‑on‑Trent. This is a temp-to-perm position with a contract offered after 12 weeks and offers a fantastic PAYE pay rate of £15.50 per hour (depending on experience), plus holidays are accrued on top.
As a HGV Class 2 driver, you will be responsible for driving curtain sider vehicles doing deliveries of ladders nationwide to major hardware stores or their NDCs. There is manual handling involved in this role and drivers must be prepared to night‑out twice per week.
The role:
- Temp-to-perm positions, working for a well‑known global brand
- Monday to Friday, 0400 start times
- Paid weekly at £15.50 per hour
- Assessment required prior to starting
Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence with Cat C
- No more than 6 points on your licence – no DG/DR endorsements due to insurance purposes
- A valid CPC and tachograph card
- Hi‑vis shirt and safety boots
- Must be able to night‑out twice per week (Monday and Wednesday)
