Refrigeration Apprentice

Location: London/Central London area.

Arcus Facilities Management is passionate about investing in the next generation of skilled Engineers and aims to engage, retain, and develop the industry’s brightest emerging talent. We offer an exciting Level 3 Apprentice position within the Refrigeration team.

The Apprentice will study a Level 3 Apprenticeship in year one, with a completion time ranging up to 48 months depending on the route taken, level of qualification and prior experience.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside a mentor to deliver planned and reactive maintenance.
• Participate and learn all refrigeration reactive and planned maintenance tasks assigned by the mentor and maintain continuous communication throughout the education process.
• Complete the site‑based log book containing risk assessments, method statements, third‑party engineer reports, and signing/attendance sheets.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety requirements and best working practices.
• Undertake relevant HR processes including notification of absence, holidays, mandatory and technical training, and completion of timesheets where applicable.
• Build a wider business awareness and passion for the brand and core values.
• Attend college, ensuring all coursework and units are completed to a high standard.

Qualifications

• GCSEs in English, Maths and Science (grade A‑C). Engineering qualification is an advantage but not essential.
• Understanding of basic engineering principles is advantageous.
• Driving licence preferred, however not essential.

Other Factors

• Apprenticeship duration is between 36 and 48 months.
• Driving licence preferred.
