Role:Food & Beverage Assistant– GekoLocation:Seaham Hall, County DurhamResort information: https://www.seaham-hall.co.ukSalary:Up to £12.71 per hour, dependant on age plus a share of service charge, approx. 2k a year for full time hoursHours:Full & Part Time hourson a zero hour contract, including weekends & bank holidays.Relationships:General Manager, Kitchen team, Food & Beverage team

The ideal candidate

  • Previous experience in a similar role required – restaurant/bar/reception
  • Have excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Attention to detail to ensure the 5-star standard of service is deliveredconsistently
  • Knowledge of Simphony software is advantageous
  • Ability to effectively interact with management, team members and guests in a professional manner
  • Be a team player as well as an individual worker
  • Must have transport
  • To provide attentive service during the meal and watch for special requests.
  • To assist in the general cleaning of your working areas.
  • To take every opportunity to upsell – desserts, starters, drinks etc.
  • To attend work consistently well groomed, in uniform
  • Be willing to attend training and gain an understanding of the menu to be able to offer guidance and recommendations to guests
