About The Role

You will work closely with the Principal to provide strategic leadership across the College, championing a culture of excellence, collaboration and high performance. You will inspire and empower staff, ensuring the effective delivery of College priorities, embedding robust performance management and creating an environment where staff and students can thrive.
You will be passionate about student success, ensuring learners are fully engaged in enrichment, social action and wider college life, helping them develop confidence, resilience and skills to progress into employment, apprenticeships or higher education.
In this role you will provide strategic leadership for a wide-ranging portfolio including Safeguarding, Estates and College Services. This encompasses Information, Advice and Guidance, Admissions, Exams, Careers and Finance, ensuring these essential services work seamlessly together to deliver an exceptional learner experience from first enquiry through to successful progression.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the College’s support services portfolio, ensuring seamless integration and high standards of delivery.
- Drive continuous improvement and embed robust performance management across staff and student teams.
- Champion a culture of excellence, collaboration and high performance throughout the College.
- Ensure compliance with safeguarding, health and safety, estate management, and other statutory requirements.
- Support the Principal in the strategic direction of the College, contributing to student achievement, wellbeing and progression.
- Oversee budgeting, finance management and resource planning for support services.
- Promote and maintain an inclusive, safe and high performing learning environment.

- Experienced, credible, values-driven senior leader with a proven track record of delivering outstanding outcomes in education.
- Commercially astute and entrepreneurial, capable of identifying opportunities, driving innovation and developing sustainable solutions.
- Inspirational leader who champions a culture of excellence, collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Strong strategic vision and ability to work collaboratively with the Principal and senior management.
- Track record of leading support services such as safeguarding, estates, admissions, exams, careers, finance or similar.
- Demonstrated commitment to student welfare, wellbeing and progression.
