This is an opportunity for an experienced Technical Programme Manager to lead the programme and build out new capability and functions within the platform across Tesco Group, delivering a step change within our business.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical programme and collaborate with product managers, business stakeholders, engineering teams, third parties and other technology and programme family members to define and deliver change embedding new technology into stores.
• Initiate and shape programmes with substantial ambiguity across multiple domains.
• Build and manage plans with clear transition states, milestones, and critical path.
• Proactively identify issues, risks and dependencies, and work closely with product and engineering teams to resolve, mitigate, transparently track and make visible.
• Understand trade‑offs and impacts, making them visible to product, infrastructure or engineering for the right decision.
• Co‑ordinate delivery of expected outcomes across multiple teams and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Proven record of accomplishment in delivering technology software programmes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated resilience during incidents or change and continued delivery.
• Strong project, stakeholder and programme management skills.
• Finance management experience.
• Experience working with multiple teams and suppliers/third parties.
