About the Warehouse Manager role
The purpose of the role is to oversee the night warehouse operation, manage team performance, plan resources, maintain service levels, and ensure effective communication across departments and shifts.
Key tasks
- Lead and develop the warehouse team, set clear expectations, manage performance, provide coaching, and support ongoing training to keep the team engaged, productive, and capable of meeting operational demands.
- Plan labour and resources effectively, coordinate warehouse activities, and ensure customer orders are picked, loaded and dispatched accurately and on time. Proactively identify challenges, maintain productivity and keep the warehouse organised, safe and prepared for future shifts.
- Work closely with other departments, ensure clear communication across shifts and provide effective handovers to support operational continuity. Support stock accuracy through regular checks, investigations and continuous improvement initiatives aimed at reducing errors and improving efficiency.
About You
- Previous warehouse experience within a leadership role, ideally in the foodservice, wholesale or FMCG industry.
- Full UK driving licence required; current forklift certification is advantageous.

Salary: £38,000 – £42,000, depending on experience.
Working hours: Sunday to Thursday or Monday to Friday. Typical shifts are between 6:00 pm and 2:00 am, and 10:00 pm and 6:00 am, with flexibility required to cover the full operation.
