With a strong order book and plans to almost double turnover over the coming years, these appointments form an important part of the company’s next stage of development.These roles are suited to people with deep, practical knowledge of textile manufacturing. General process engineering experience alone will not be enough. You’ll need industry experience and will have knowledge in either slitting, drying, binding, blending or carding manufacturing processes.What you’ll be doingActing as the technical expert for your area of the manufacturing processSupporting production teams with process settings, materials, machinery performance and product behaviourInvestigating quality, yield and manufacturing performance issuesIdentifying the root causes of process variation and implementing practical solutionsImproving process stability, consistency, throughput, yield and OEEDeveloping and documenting best-practice operating methodsWorking with experienced operators to capture and strengthen existing process knowledgeSupporting trials and the introduction of new products and materialsProviding technical input into machinery upgrades, capital investment and process changesSupporting the commissioning, optimisation and troubleshooting of new equipmentCoaching operators, supervisors and engineersHelping establish stronger technical standards across the siteWhat you’ll bringExperience within textile or related manufacturing environmentsA strong record of solving manufacturing, quality or process performance problemsExperience improving yield, process stability, throughput or equipment effectivenessThe ability to work confidently on the shop floor with operators, engineers and production leadersStrong practical problem-solving skills, supported by data and technical judgementExperience sharing knowledge, coaching others or developing technical capabilityExperience supporting new products, materials, equipment or manufacturing processesWhat’s on offerAn attractive salary and package and a senior technical role with genuine influence over manufacturing performance in an environment with significant investment!If you have a strong background in textile manufacturing and experience in process, manufacturing, continuous improvement or asset optimisation, and want to use that expertise in a senior, hands-on role with real influence, apply now!*Please note, whilst we do our best to contact all candidates, due to the high number of applications we receive we cannot guarantee this for every role.
