Overview
You’ll be the person who builds this from scratch, and that doesn’t happen often.
This is a newly created role inside one of the UK’s most established investment organisations, one responsible for safeguarding and growing around £40 billion in assets for its members. The mission is long-term, the purpose is real, and the AI Platforms capability you’re about to build doesn’t exist yet.
Responsibilities
You’ll own it end to end: strategy, governance, delivery, and the team around you. You’re working across Microsoft low-code and pro-code environments, shaping how AI gets adopted across the enterprise and sitting close enough to the executive table to actually influence the direction.
Your days will move between platform architecture and stakeholder conversations. You’ll be defining environment strategy, setting DLP and governance standards, scaling a citizen development model, and making sure the tools your organisation runs on – Power Platform, AI Foundry, MS Fabric, Copilot Studio, Dataverse, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI – are working hard and working safely.
You’ll manage vendors, own a budget, and build business cases that land at board level. You’ll lead a technical team and bring people with you.
Qualifications
You’ll have a strong track record across enterprise platforms and business applications, with experience leading technical teams and running a centre‑of‑excellence or citizen development model in a governed environment.
