At Evodia Limited, we’re partnering with a forward-thinking company seeking a Programme Director to lead their Data at Rest (DaR) initiatives. If you have a solid background in project and business development, alongside a passion for delivering secure communications solutions to defence and government clients, this could be the opportunity for you. This role is only available to UK nationals who either already hold, or are willing and able to obtain UK DV security clearance.

About the Role

This is a permanent position based in Farnborough, Hampshire, with the flexibility of hybrid working, spending around two days per week onsite. As a key member of the Data at Rest leadership team, you’ll turn strategic ambitions into tangible results, driving growth and delivering high-quality projects within a secure and dynamic environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Collaborate closely with sales and business development teams to identify new opportunities and grow revenue across government and defence programs.
  • Lead and manage a team of project and account managers, establishing best delivery practices and fostering a culture of transparency and agility.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate programmes to ensure strategic alignment and operational success.
  • Manage programme schedules, budgets, and resources efficiently, ensuring projects meet targets and quality standards.
  • Maintain strong stakeholder relationships, including clients, partners, and internal teams, keeping all parties informed of progress and outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards such as RAIDO, embedding change management principles across the project portfolio.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • 3+ years’ experience in a business development or sales role related to defence, government, or secure communications.
  • Between 3-5 years’ project or programme management experience within a technical environment, with proven capabilities in leading teams and large‑scale projects.
  • Qualified to APMP or Prince2 Practitioner (or equivalent) standards.
  • Understanding of MoD or secure communications programmes.
  • UK nationality, willing and able to obtain UK DV security clearance.

Desirable attributes include strong relationship‑building skills, technical leadership experience, and familiarity with MS Office tools including MS Project.
