Salary: £35,000 per annum + 5% annual performance bonus – Shift Work.

Thursday: 12:15pm – 11:00pm.

The Role

As Warehouse Line Manager, you’ll take responsibility for the day‑to‑day performance of a busy warehouse operation, ensuring productivity, safety and customer service standards are consistently achieved.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading, motivating and developing a warehouse team to achieve operational targets.
  • Planning and coordinating daily warehouse activities to ensure efficient product flow.
  • Monitoring productivity, accuracy and service levels while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety, HACCP and company procedures.
  • Producing and analysing operational reports and KPIs to drive performance.
  • Supporting warehouse improvement projects and process optimisation.
  • Working closely with operational teams to maintain service levels during peak trading periods.
  • Promoting a positive, safety‑first culture across the warehouse.

About You

You’ll already have experience leading teams within a fast‑paced warehouse or distribution environment and enjoy developing people while improving operational performance.

You’ll ideally have:

  • Previous warehouse leadership or line management experience.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, Health & Safety and HACCP.
  • Excellent communication and people management skills.
  • Experience producing and analysing KPIs and operational reports.
  • Strong organisational and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
  • Experience working within a Continuous Improvement or LEAN environment.
  • GCSE Maths and English (Grade C or equivalent).
  • Warehouse layout or process improvement project experience.
  • Advanced Excel or database skills.
