Here at GXO, we are looking for a Warehouse Stock Manager for our Heineken site in Derby. You will be responsible for overseeing inventory accuracy, stock management processes, and warehouse stock control activities. The role ensures optimal inventory levels are maintained to support business operations, minimise costs, prevent stock shortages, and improve supply chain efficiency.
This is a full time, 12 month FTC position, working, Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm. Some flexibility may be required, this is logistics after all!

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £46,000.00 per annum, and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day
- Maintain accurate inventory records across all warehouses and storage locations
- Monitor stock levels and ensure inventory is available to meet customer and operational demands
- Analyse inventory trends and recommend stock level adjustments
- Manage slow-moving, obsolete, and excess inventory
- D evelop and implement stock control procedures and policies
- Produce regular inventory performance reports and KPIs
- Work closely with Procurement, Planning, Operations, Logistics, and Finance teams
What you need to succeed at GXO
- Experience in inventory management, stock control, or supply chain operations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience with WMS systems (e.g., SAP)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Professional qualification such as CIPS, CPIM, CSCP, or APICS – desirable
