Job Description
As part of WSP’s asbestos and hazardous materials consultancy team, you will deliver project assistance on commercial property, rail, aviation and other sectors, providing knowledge and solutions to clients to manage risk from asbestos and hazardous materials. You will work site‑based and office‑based surveys, manage refurbishment, removal verification, air monitoring, and produce reports. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on large development projects across the UK.
Responsibilities
- Delivery of site and office‑based asbestos and hazardous materials projects
- Undertake asbestos management, refurbishment, and demolition surveys
- Perform asbestos air monitoring and removal verification
- Produce asbestos survey and remediation reports
Qualifications
- Previous experience of asbestos‑related activities undertaken within UKAS‑accredited organisations
- BOHS P402‑404 Proficiency Modules (or RSPH equivalent)
- Passion to develop knowledge and career in the built and natural environment
