MS Clinical Nurse Specialist

Overview

The NHS Fife Neurology service is looking for a highly motivated and dynamic Band 6 Clinical Nurse Specialist to work within the Multiple Sclerosis specialist nursing team. This role delivers support and advice for patients and families affected by MS and is part of a small, forward‑thinking team providing holistic care to people of Fife.

Responsibilities

• Deliver support and advice for patients and families affected by Multiple Sclerosis.
• Provide professional advice and expertise to multidisciplinary teams across acute in‑patient, community and wider community settings.
• Deliver and support holistic care to people living with MS in Fife.
• Work autonomously to provide specialist care within acute and community environments.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience in delivering specialist care to people with MS or a related neurological condition.
• Demonstrated commitment to patient‑centred care, service improvement and effective teamwork.
• Ability to work independently and provide professional advice within multidisciplinary teams.
• Must become a member of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme before appointment.
• Legal right to work in the United Kingdom or the post will be eligible to be sponsored.
