Associate / Senior Associate (5+ PQE) – Dispute Resolution – Bristol

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Associate or Senior Associate (5+ PQE) to join a highly regarded and growing Dispute Resolution team based in Bristol. You’ll become part of a Legal 500 and Chambers-ranked team within an award‑winning, Top 100 UK law firm, recognised for delivering commercial advice to a diverse client base across regional, national and international markets.

This role offers the chance to work on a broad range of complex and high‑value disputes, including:

  • Commercial contract disputes
  • Fraud and asset recovery matters
  • Injunctive relief applications
  • Shareholder and company disputes
  • Contentious data protection matters
  • Financial services litigation
  • Insurance coverage disputes
  • Professional negligence claims
  • Warranty and post‑acquisition disputes

The team advises clients across sectors including financial services, technology, media and telecommunications (TMT), healthcare, manufacturing, energy and the public sector. Matters frequently involve disputes relating to outsourced services, SaaS agreements, digital transformation and platform development projects, as well as distribution and commercial arrangements.

Candidate Requirements

  • Qualified solicitor with 5+ years’ PQE
  • Strong experience handling a wide range of commercial dispute resolution matters
  • The ability to manage matters autonomously while working collaboratively within a team
  • Excellent communication and client management skills
  • Strong drafting, negotiation and strategic thinking abilities
  • A genuine interest in business development and growing client relationships

A portable client following would be advantageous but is not essential.
