Regional Recruitment are recruiting for a Supply Chain Planner on behalf of a well-established global manufacturer and supplier of industrial goods. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has gained experience supporting a supply chain, procurement, or buying function and is looking to develop their career within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Working closely with procurement, production, suppliers, and internal stakeholders, you’ll play a key role in ensuring materials are available to meet customer demand while maintaining efficient stock levels and supporting the wider supply chain operation.

Qualifications Essential
- Previous experience within a Supply Chain, Procurement, Purchasing, or Buying Support role
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Confident communicator with the ability to build relationships across departments and with suppliers
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office packages
Desirable
- Experience working within a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Knowledge of ERP or MRP systems
- Understanding of inventory planning and demand forecasting
Roles & Responsibilities
- Support the planning and scheduling of materials to ensure production requirements are met.
- Monitor inventory levels, raising purchase requisitions and liaising with suppliers to maintain continuity of supply.
- Work closely with the procurement and buying teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and components.
- Maintain accurate planning data, stock records, and supplier information within the ERP system.
- Assist with demand forecasting and inventory analysis to optimise stock levels and minimise shortages.
- Track supplier performance and follow up on overdue orders to minimise disruption.
- Collaborate with production, logistics, and customer service teams to ensure customer requirements are met.
- Produce reports and analyse supply chain data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain function.
