Contract Software Engineer – ADA Required

Long term contract assignment in Bristol.

Responsibilities

• Develop software primarily in Ada (C/C++ or Rust acceptable).
• Contribute to design and implementation decisions.
• Support integration and testing activities.

Qualifications

• Solid background in software engineering.
• Experience in regulated software safety contexts (defence, aerospace, rail, nuclear, or medical applications).
• Proficiency in Ada (preferred); good experience with C/C++ also acceptable.
• Knowledge of software design differences between Real‑Time OSs and Hypervisors beneficial.
• Experience using Linux operating systems.
• Strong ability to innovate, think critically, and solve complex software problems.
• Comfortable working in a collaborative team environment.
