Senior IBM MQ z/OS Specialist – 24/7 On-Call

Scope of services

• Proficient with IBM MQ on z/OS.
• Knowledge of how to configure and administer MQ in the z/OS platform.
• Installation, patching, configuring, and problem determination for IBM MQ on z/OS.
• Experience and capability in dealing with vendors for problem/incident determination.
• Use of SSL and management within the MQ environment.
• Proficient in data transfer to and from host systems.
• Configuring security, defining Queue Sharing Groups, gathering and analysing statistics and accounting data for performance tuning.
• Troubleshooting/Performance tuning of Message Queue applications.
• Provide 24×7 on-call support in addition to support out of hour changes as and when required.
