Position

Data Analyst – Managed Clinical Network Heart and Stroke, University Hospital Crosshouse (permanent, 36 hours per week).

Hours

36 hours per week.

UK Driving Licence

A UK driving licence is essential for this role.

What you will do

The Data Analyst supports the Managed Clinical Network (MCN) Team by collecting, analysing and reporting data to meet the information needs of NHS Ayrshire & Arran. This role will produce reports and maintain spreadsheets, support audit cover for Scottish Stroke Care Audit (SSCA), and provide specialist analytical services to improve heart and stroke service delivery.

Knowledge, training and/or experience required

  • HND or SVQ 4 in a business-related subject with relevant experience in a similar role in the NHS or a large complex organisation.
  • Relevant experience includes: good working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, strong IT analytical skills, numeracy, analytical and presentation skills, organizational and communication skills, logical problem solving, effective dissemination of results, workload management, teamwork, flexibility, adherence to processes and procedures, and attention to detail.
