About the Job
Our Centre is open 7 days per week between 8am-8pm and we are searching for permanent ACP’s – either part‑time or full time. You will work as part of a team within the Brighton Station Health Centre. We need team members who are able to work with urgent care patients in our Walk‑in Centre as well as with our registered patients in our GP service. This role gives you a chance to develop your experiences and work with a mixture of patient types and conditions in an outpatient environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide autonomous, unscheduled medical care and management of patients presenting with acute undifferentiated and undiagnosed conditions, complex health needs and/or long term conditions.
- Work within Clinical Guidelines, Policies, Procedures and utilise expert judgment to work outside these frameworks where necessary.
- Prescribe medicines and meet all duties in relation to medicines management in accordance with professional and Practice Plus Group standards.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and provide high‑quality care to urgent‑care and GP patients.
Qualifications
- Registered Advanced Nurse / Clinical Practitioner (ACP or ANP).
- Prescriber status within professional competence.
- Experience or capability in urgent care and general practice settings.
