Hiring a “Telecom field Engineer –” based out of Glasgow, Scotland (Onsite – 5 Days/Week) for a global IT service provider . (Full UK Driving Licence Mandatory)

About the Role

We are looking for experienced Telecom Field Engineers to support the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and fault resolution of enterprise telecom infrastructure across customer sites in Scotland.

You will work on fibre, Cisco networking equipment, telecom cabinets, power systems, and enterprise communication networks while ensuring projects are delivered safely and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Install routers, switches, telecom cabinets, and network equipment.
• Install and terminate fibre optic and telecom cabling.
• Perform commissioning and testing of telecom circuits.
• Conduct fault diagnosis and troubleshooting.
• Carry out routine maintenance and site inspections.
• Complete site surveys and project documentation.
• Support 24/7 network assurance activities when required.
• Ensure all work complies with Health & Safety standards.
